3D printing with bio-inks has revolutionised medical science and research. Entire replacement organs can be either printed and surgically attached or, more recently, printed in situ. This is accomplished by bio-printing stem cells directly in place. Bone, cartilage, organs, and everything else is able to be replaced. Assuming the patient can be kept alive long enough.

Internal Cranial Electronics (ICE)
One of the greatest and most influential systems developed by the UK is internal cranial electronics, commonly referred to as ICE hardware. This in-head computer allows a person to access computers, Wi-Fi, monetary, and security systems. ICE is grown in situ using nanite building systems and 3D bio-printed hardware. The main control system is wrapped around the pons area of the brain stem. nanowire tendrils grow slowly and steadily into the brain, connecting the control system to the users sensory organs, cognitive, memory and motor functions, etc.
In its simplest form the ICE extends gold nanowires down the left arm and in to the palm and thumb. A slight gold hint can be seen in the hand. The ICE system also links in any cybernetic additions and permits the user to access the internet. This give users the ability to access their financial records, to pay for goods, and to receive money. Most equipment has a bio-thumb print recognition panel that can unlock and access the equipment.

3D Printed Eyes
Digitally designed and printed eyes can completely replace your eyes. This can be to heal a condition, enhance your vision, as well as process images and record what you see. These eyes are bio-printed using state-of-the-art bio-inks that encompass all of the required digital/neural connections. A deck inside the users head allows eyes to be replaced and upgraded as required. These connections use attractive forces to keep the eye in place where the eye and tissues can connect automatically.
An advanced version includes Wi-Fi connectivity, in-head electronics connection, colour manipulation and vision enhancements.

Advancement to the circulation system include increased heart function, increased oxygen carrying capacity, and greater liver function.

Replacement skeletal parts can be printed from CAT scans to ensure a perfect fit.
Musculature
Skin
Skin cells can be printed in sheets that are used to adhere to the patients skin. These are used to help heal burns, skin cancers, and other kinds of afflictions that effect the epidermis.
Bio-Tech Specials
By the 23rd Century medical technology has developed enough to offer full-body replacements. These are usually too expensive for the everyday citizen but are used a lot by the Military and other specialised agencies. The two most common bio-tech bodies are the 'soldier' and 'spacer'. As their names suggest they are designed for a specific role.
The soldier is a heavy duty skeleton, musculature, joints, and hardened nervous system. This improves survivability on the battlefield and on hazardous extra-solar planets. They are a heavy build using a mixture of Scandinavian, African, and European DNA standing on average around 1.8m tall.
The Spacer is designed for use on starcraft. A lithe, slim build using Asian and Indian DNA. A lightweight skeleton reinforced with nanotubes, additional oxygen blood storage and ambidextrous joints. Some even use dextrous feet as well. They are extremely nimble designed to move around in low and zero gravities.
