Wraith Infantry Fighting Vehicle

The Wraith IFV family of vehicle replaces the ASCOD and Scout in British Military service. The Wraith is unlike any other fighting vehicle developed. The hull makes up the EGDrive effect in much the same way as Crows but due to increases in armour and weapons systems is far less efficient. Although this does give a Wraith the ability to be dropped from orbit directly in to combat



Design

In its basic form the Wraith resembles a flattened teardrop. The narrow front houses the main sensor suite with the power core power supply behind. The center contains the crew bay with space for 8 Segomo mounted soldiers. Two sliding side doors allow for a fast exit to each side.

The single driver sits in the rear of the vehicle in fully immersive VR Holographic control suites using their built-in ICE wetwear.

        • EMP hardened systems to 2020 military standard. The entire armour can act like a faraday cage with grounding to Earth. A cable ground can be utilised by vehicle crews.
  • Screening Systems
    • Chameleon meta material skin enables the Wraith to blend with a variety of terrain and environments. The system includes not only visual but also EM and thermal wavelengths.
    • Chemring Chaff and Flare S3 (Self Screening System) canisters in 4 pods surround the  main hull. These S3 canisters can create false sensor hard images of the Wraith.
    • Chemring missile and mine detection system incorporating level 2 AI.

Offensive

    • 2 x Lightning strike laser turrets mounted in 50mm ball turrets front and rear. capable of point defence, anti missile, and anti personnel.
    • Main turret mounts a single Casemate weapons mount. Armaments include;
      • BAe-CG40 40mm Coil gun capable of firing a variety of rounds at supersonic speeds.
      • Twin 40mm Cased Telescoped (CT) Canon.
      • 650mm Thor Grazer turret capable of producing 2 terawatts of energy at 25 miles.

        • Visor Heads Up Display. The soldiers ICE systems are supplemented by a visor heads up overlay. A variety of mission specific information can be displayed;
